WeeCare was founded in Mount Vernon in 1980 by Bob & Allison Birdsong. The Birdsongs built WeeCare around the three pillars of quality education, a healthy atmosphere, and mutual respect for educators, children, and parents.
In 1990, Nancy Gentry purchased WeeCare and continues with the Birdsongs' established mission.
Thanks to our long and successful history, we are now teaching the children of our onetime students! Parents, children, and educators: They all seem to come back to WeeCare.
